A subsidiary but important part of the design is to satisfy the known, and growing, requirements of visitors to the Island: to supply them with authoritative reading matter from which to broaden their understanding of what they see around them, and how it came to be as it is&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A number of the publications are now out of print and some have been re-printed or have been published in revised editions.
