Zoom Meeting – 19 March 2021

Are you fed-up with the constant conversations about the date and location of your vaccine? Has this year-long ‘lockdown’ been a heavy burden to carry? Do you feel despair about all the Covid talk?

Why not forget your worries for an hour or so, sit back, and concentrate only on the latest Anglesey Antiquarians’ Society lecture?

On Friday, 19 March 2021, we shall be welcoming Mr Michael Freeman (former curator of the Ceredigion Museum) who will lecture under the intriguing title of ‘Scientists, Sightseers and Licensees: A brief history of the summit of Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon”. See his website at https://sublimewales.wordpress.com/

The Zoom doors will be flung open at 6:45pm so that we can start promptly at 7:00pm.

You will need to register beforehand in order to guarantee your place and to avoid disappointment. As soon as possible, please send an e-mail message to g.huws@hanesmon.org.uk so you can be with us for that evening.

Members who have given us their email addresses have been sent details of this event and as the number of participants will need to be limited places will be reserved on a first come first served basis so recipients of an email invite will need to book their place promptly. Enquiries to Gareth Huws.

Successful applicants for places will be sent an email nearer the date giving details of how to join the meeting.

A simple guide to using Zoom
If you have a poor internet connection you may find using a smartphone more successful as it uses much less bandwidth than a computer with a large screen. Turning your video off will also use less bandwidth.

The Gwynedd Archaeological Trust will be providing the Zoom hosting facilities. These will be organised for us by Andrew Davidson
