Zoom Meeting – 19 February 2021

Annie Williams – ‘Female Domestic Servants in nineteenth-century Anglesey’. Annie Williams is an acknowledged expert on the history of workers on the landed estates during the 18^th and 19^th centuries and the particular emphasis of her research is the role of women in the houses of the gentry. This will be a lecture not to be missed. Remember that we limit the audience numbers to 60 and you must register beforehand by sending an e-mail message to g.huws@hanesmon.org.uk. Of course, the rule of accepting the first applications will apply.

Be sure to keep these dates clear too – Friday, March 19^th; Friday, April 16^th; Friday, May 21^st – because a veritable feast of lectures awaits us on those dates. More details will be given as they become available.
The lecture will start at 7 p.m.. Participants will be able to join the meeting from 6.30 pm.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions using the ‘chat’ function.

Members who have given us their email addresses have been sent details of this event and as the number of participants will need to be limited places will be reserved on a first come first served basis so recipients of an email invite will need to book their place promptly. A simple guide to using Zoom
If you have a poor internet connection you may find using a smartphone more successful as it uses much less bandwidth than a computer with a large screen. Turning your video off will also use less bandwidth.
